1.1 The Chair welcomed Members to the meeting.
1.2 Apologies were received from Lynne Neagle AM.
2.1 The Committee received evidence from representatives of Alcohol Concern Cymru.
2.2 Andrew Misell and Dr Richard Piper agreed to provide the Committee with the following:
- the number of individuals receiving alcohol support treatment in Wales;
- the age group which is most susceptible to the poly-use of alcohol and drugs.
3.1 The Committee received evidence from representatives of the Salvation Army and Barnardo’s.
4.1a The Committee noted the additional information from Chris Snowdon, Institute of Economic Affairs.
4.2a The Committee noted the letter from the Cabinet Secretary for Finance to the Chair of the Finance Committee regarding draft budget 2018-19.
4.3a The Committee noted the additional information from Professor Stockwell, University of Victoria.
4.4a The Committee noted the summary of work undertaken by the National Assembly’s Outreach Team.
5.1 The Committee agreed the motion.
6.1 The Committee considered the evidence given during items 2 and 3 of the meeting.
7.1 The Committee noted and agreed the Forward Work Programme for early 2018.
